The ceremony to commemorate Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir was held at the Pakistan Embassy Moscow on 05 August 2024 to acknowledge the justified struggle of the Kashmiri people for independence and to denounce the illegal and unilateral steps taken by India.
The event began with recitation from Holy Quran followed by the anthems of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Special messages on the occasion of Youm-Istehsal of the President and Prime minister of Pakistan were read by Charge d'Affaires Mr. Salman Pervaiz and First Secretary Mr. Muhammad Tayyab.
The guests were presented with a documentary detailing India's unlawful activities in IIOJK.
Participants united in reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast moral, political, and diplomatic support for Kashmir’s indigenous freedom struggle.
